"Torres Novas MiniCircuit" hosted Round 3 of the Portuguese National Electric Touring Car Championship on May 29, 2011. There were 9 Modified class drivers and 16 Stock class (13.5T) drivers that attended to compete on one of the best circuits we have for this scale.
On Saturday afternoon, the track was open for free practice. The rain came down later and some drivers decided to prepare their cars for what could have been a wet race.
On Sunday morning qualifying heats, the XRAY T3´11/SpeedPassion car driven by driver Hugo Miguel took 3 of 4 rounds, followed by Helder Silva and Joao Martinho. In Stock class, the unbeatable Bernardo Cosme took the pole, followed by Fernando Cardoso and Bruno Castela.

In the afternoon the finals were delayed for 1 hour as the rain came down.
The first final saw a close battle between Hugo and Helder, both switching places several times as the track was very slippery and careful driving was needed. The last two rounds were won by Hugo Miguel, making him the winner of Round 3 of the National Championship. Helder Silva took a brilliant 2nd and the talented Joao Martinho took a great 3rd place!

In Stock class, the young Bernardo Cosme grabbed a well-deserved 1st place, followed by veteran Fernando Cardoso and Mario Coelho.
